One of my favorites in Long Beach. A short drive if you’re in the mood for some real delicious, no nonsense, down-to-earth Mexican food. Really good tacos, a great quesadilla with shrimp and octopus and everything else. Definitely good on a limited budget!

One of my favorite activities in Long Beach. Give ourself a couple of hours on Long Beach’s canals and bring food and drink for a leisure onboard pick nick. Try to go at low tide. The boat can’t fit under most bridges in high tide.

If you have a day this place is a spectacular way to spend it. Besides the awesome art you also have the fantastic building and grounds. There are diverse ways to eat from fast to fine. Admission is free - Parking is $20 per car.
To avoid rush hour home you could take Sunset Boulevard to Pacific Coast Highway and from there to a sunset dinner at Mariasol on Santa Monica Pier.
