Fabulous place for second hand books - hundreds of them, all subjects- in an old building scented with old wood and books! Like a library from my childhood! Allow hours for browsing as time slips away!

This is a fantastic place for gardeners and non-gardeners alike and was voted best garden centre in the UK in 2019. There are friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you choose your plants and garden pots, furniture and all accessories but there is also a great coffee shop and restaurant, food hall, kitchen stuff and all sorts of clothes, jewellery, children’s games, wonderful things to adorn your home and feed your pets. Well worth a visit!!

Old Railway Line Garden Centre
This is a fantastic place for gardeners and non-gardeners alike and was voted best garden centre in the UK in 2019. There are friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you choose your plants and garden pots, furniture and all accessories but there is also a great coffee shop and restaurant, food hall, kitchen stuff and all sorts of clothes, jewellery, children’s games, wonderful things to adorn your home and feed your pets. Well worth a visit!!
This is such a great place to spend hours watching the owls and petting the Pygmy goats, alpacas and lambs. There are all sorts of different animals, geese, ducks and pheasants to see and learn about from the friendly staff. A great family friendly place with a cafe and gift shop.
