Many a Woodstocker has gotten married here. Beautiful when mtn laurel is in bloom. Avoid on or around the full moon. Great for stargazing. Across the rd from Buddhists and down the backside of Meads Mtn. Walkable from monastery.

I got ‘baptized’ there (my Buddhist name is Drechen Dolma) when I moved to Woodstock 27 years ago before they built the monalithic structure shadowing over the lovely Russian Orthodox Church below it which is a must see! Pretty psychedelic.

335 Meads Mountain RdI got ‘baptized’ there (my Buddhist name is Drechen Dolma) when I moved to Woodstock 27 years ago before they built the monalithic structure shadowing over the lovely Russian Orthodox Church below it which is a must see! Pretty psychedelic.
My favorite place to sit outside of and watch the world go by. Lovely bench and fountain set back in the shade right off of the village green. Avoid Sundays from 4 to 5.

One of the newer additions to the storefronts in Woodstock, the apothecary, is a wonderful resource and warehouse for all your natural healing needs. It is located across from the police dept.
Now that our health food store, Sunflower, has expanded, it has become, in my opinion, somewhat of an eyesore as well as a zoo. I keep looking for the escalator.... I still shop there but it is no longer a meeting place for us local granolas.
Shop the apothecary for all your health and beauty needs and support a local business that is community minded.
