Pine Knob via Appalachian Trail Loop is a 2.6 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near West Cornwall, Connecticut that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and nature trips and is best used from April until December.

Pine Knob via Appalachian Trail Loop is a 2.6 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near West Cornwall, Connecticut that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and nature trips and is best used from April until December.
North of Flat Rocks Rd in Cornwall, the trail has been relocated into a pine woods, eliminating the road walk on a gravel road (Great Hollow Rd South). The new trail begins at Flat Rocks Rd at a break in a stone wall, a short distance east of the gravel road. The new trail rejoins the existing trail where the original trail turned west to reach the gravel road.
