Chlodwigplatz is a major crosspoint for having dinner, drinks or just experience Cologne on a weekends morning. I recommend walking down the Severinstraße which is full of cafes, shops and restaurants.

You can leave your laundry there (washing machines take between 40 and 60 minutes depending on the programme you choose) and the dryers about 15 minutes and do some shopping in Lidl or DM in the meantime.
One wash costs 3/3,50 Euros; one drying 1,50.
