Old fashioned hamburger and shake joint. No inside sitting area. Walk up and order at the window, eat in your car or on the picnic tables. Prepare to wait 15 minutes for your food, but it's worth it. Located a 10 minute drive from Tucker Landing.

Hiking/Biking/Walking Trails

Today there are 400 miles of well-maintained trails in Northwest Arkansas—250 or so for mountain biking; another 150 in paved paths—with 2 miles of trails added every week. The goal is something for everyone, from thrill-seeking hard-core riders, to newcomers just getting started. NWA is highly rated for our Northwest Arkansas Razorback Greenway trail system that connects over 50 miles of paved concrete trails from Fayetteville to Bella Vista. Ride your bike, take a walk or run - you'll be welcomed by oodles of locals.
The Greenway is a beautiful web of trails, creeks, streams, greenery and the people who use it, spanning 37 miles from Fayetteville to Bella Vista. You'll also find anything from flowers, deer, painted rocks (or a giant rock man!) and even a four leaf clover or two. There are parks, bike check stations, obstacle courses and workout stations. This is definitely one of the gems of Northwest Arkansas. Plan to spend awhile and remember to take only memories and leave only footprints behind. For bikes there are many stops along the trail with a bike "tune up" station. I've used it to pump up my tires with their air pump. The station is free to use. There are also some water fountains and seats as well. There are numerous stops to make along the entire trail for shopping, restaurants, museums, etc. You can find the trail map online so you can plan your route! There are also many convenient parking lots to park and hop on the trail. I love how this area is so bike/hike/walk friendly with all the beautiful trails.

10 minutes from Tucker Landing. Check out Pigeon Roost, Shaddox Hollow, Hidden Diversity Loop, Historic Van Winkle and Sinking Stream trails. They range from super easy to more challenging and they're all great. It's always nice to go after a rain when the creeks and streams are running. The park offers a shooting range, hunting (but make sure you follow proper procedures for your hunting license) and camping. The Visitor's Center itself is very nice with clean bathrooms and offers many of guided tours and educational programs on the regular.

An Arkansas icon, this special place nestled in Lee Creek Valley was selected as a state park site in the 1930's. The Civilian Conservation Corps used native materials to build the park’s rustic-style wood and stone structures that mirror the surrounding natural beauty. It now stands as one of the most intact CCC sites in the U.S., with a legacy you can see in its trails and buildings like its original cabins. Some of the park’s unique characteristics are rock formations and caverns. An impressive rock dam spans Lee Creek forming Lake Devil, an 8-acre lake for fishing and boating with canoes and pedal boats for rent. The park’s hiking, backpacking, mountain bike, and horseback riding trails lead to the surrounding Ozark National Forest. Devil’s Den includes 17 cabins with kitchens and fireplaces and 6 camper cabins. The park also offers 135 campsites (44 Class AAA, 4 Class B, 13 Class C, 24 Class D [no hookups], eight hike-in [tent only], and 42 sites with hookups in the horse camp that includes a bathhouse and access to the horse trails). The park’s cafe is open seasonally. The pool is open in summer only. Also on-site is a group camp, standard pavilion, playground, store, and meeting room. Join park interpreters on hikes along trails including the 15-mile Butterfield Hiking Trail and for a variety of programs and special events year-round, like the Ozark Mountain Bike Festival held annually in the spring.

Since 1960, Daisy’s corporate offices in Rogers, Arkansas, have housed an impressive airgun collection. In 1999, the company decided to utilize that collection to create a first class and entertaining museum which would serve as a tourism attraction for our city. In March, 2000, the refurbished, expanded museum opened its doors. Today, the museum resides in the brick-paved historic sector of downtown Rogers in a building which, itself, dates to 1896. It attracts over 1700 visitors a year from almost every state in the continental U.S and several foreign countries. Gun and history enthusiasts come to see the collection of antique airguns dating to the 1600s. Daisy collectors come to walk through a chronological presentation of Daisy history, view old packaging and advertising. Baby boomers come to see an example of the first Daisy made and to see and talk about the one they had as a youngster. Shoppers come to see the complete line of current Daisy products and take something home from the gift shop. And they all come to see the unique collectibles which are exclusively available through the Daisy Airgun Museum.

Located in Bentonville, Arkansas - home of Wal-Mart Corporate offices and Walton 5&10 Museum and store. In 1950, the Walton family – Sam and Helen, sons, Rob, John, and Jim, and daughter Alice – moved to Bentonville in northwest Arkansas from the eastern side of the state. According to Sam, the town was small enough to satisfy Helen’s need for small-town living. According to Helen, it situated the family within a short driving distance of Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas – where Sam could enjoy different seasons on the calendar to satisfy his passion for quail hunting. Moving to Bentonville allowed Sam to purchase Luther Harrison’s Variety Store on the town’s central square. It was Sam’s second store, but the first to bear the Walton name. A Ben Franklin five-and-dime franchise, it was right next door to a space occupied by a barber shop – space that Sam acquired in 1951. Sam followed this expansion into the space next door with a remodeling sale that established Walton’s 5&10 as the huge success Sam knew it could be. Today, visitors to The Walmart Museum can see the original tin ceiling tiles from Harrison’s Variety Store as well as the original red and green tiles that Sam laid down prior to the famous remodeling sale. If you look closely, you can see that the red and greens don’t all exactly match. Sam, you see, had been offered a better price on the batch of tiles if he accepted them “as is”. Sam knew that his customers wouldn’t be looking at his floor – or even care – as long as his prices were low and his shelves were well-stocked. Sam was a frugal man, but not just for the sake of frugality. He knew that saving money on expenses meant he could charge lower prices, saving his customers money so they could live better.
