The coffee jar is on the way too Regents park and is a great little spot to stop for a sanck and a coffee. It's particularly nice when it's warm outside and you can park up on the outside seating to soak up the sunshine

Caravan has a roastery out the back of the restraunt that's a great place in kings cross to grab a coffee or even some beans as a souvenir.

The closest coffee shop to our place, the camden garden centre has a little mezzanine coffee shop upstairs that also does a small selection of little dishes with great produce

There are few spots around the area that we love to take people when they visit and these are our favourites
Primrose hill has beautiful views of London and is a must to visit on a sunny day. it's great to tie in with a visit of Regents park the local primorse hill high street which has some great little coffee shops and boutique grocers.

The Heath is a massive park north of camden town that's great to wander around in the summer time, it's a wild park that in the summer has swimming pools to cool off if you're really keen.

While neither of us are very big fans of camden market and the way it's been developed into a bit of a tourist trap, the part of the market that is right up against the canal contains a whole collection of food stalls. These are a good spot for a quick lunch if you're in the area, particularly during the week however on the weekend it's not somewhere we'd recommend.

The coal drops yard is a beautiful new development of an old industrial site on regents canal and definitely worth a visit. There are some great places to eat dring and browse if you're looking for something to take home with you.

The birthplace of cricket is very close by and a must visit for any circket fan

London is a city full of markets big and small. They range from farmers markets focusing on fresh produce to food stalls selling freshly made bites to eat and drinks. We visit them regularly and are never disappointed
Mare street market is an indoor market that during the day has a number of fixed shops selling cheese, wine and knick knacks along with some drinks and food. In the evening it becomes a lovely bar with some good food options. Its almost always busy but you should be able to squeeze in if you hang around for a bit with a drink. It's a good option when the weather is bad to hide away and keep warm

Maltby Street Market is a blast, always busy and mostly full of food and drink stalls to have there it's one of our favourite spots to take visitors. A great local alternative to Borough Market that's less busy on the weekend

This is definitely on the produce end of the spectrum compared to some.other markets, it has great fruit and veg from local UK farms. There are also usually also a few spots doing food to have there so you won't go away hungry

London's food scene is truly amazing, with all the styles and cuisines you could possibly ask for. There are too many great spots to list but I've named a few local highlights
Dishoom is more institution than restaurant. London's love of great and authentic Indian good manifests itself perfectly here. The restaurant makes delicious and authentic Indian food in a colonial far east setting. Is great for dinner but prepare to line up if you don't go early, otherwise they do brunch which is also great.

A super local continental deli style Bar serving awesome natural wines by the glass (BIB - bag in box). they also have a chalkboard menu that's made up of innovative small plates. the decor is quirky but fun and the workers are super accommodating.

Awesome and authentic Greek food super close to home but very busy. would definitely recommend calling ahead to ensure they have space. portions are generous and prices low.
