The highest vertical-drop cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi. Very short hike to the bottom of the falls. You can hike to top or turn around whenever you want and still enjoy the beautiful falls.

The highest vertical-drop cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi. Very short hike to the bottom of the falls. You can hike to top or turn around whenever you want and still enjoy the beautiful falls.
This is about a 2 mile hike up a pretty steep trail. There is a 30 foot tall rock on top that you have to climb up to get incredible views of the surrounding mountains. WOW!

Park at Slack overlook between mile markers 19 & 20. Walk to left on parkway about 100 feet to trailhead. When below cliff, stay on trail that hugs the cliff.
