Visit on a Sunday when you'll catch the weekly market. If you're lucky the bandstand will be in full swing. Highly recommend the blueberry pancakes from the cafe. The cafe also does a decent selection of local craft beers.

A beautiful park. The lido, a 50m unheated pool is a special place to take a swim - providing it's not too cold! There's also plenty to do in Herne Hill for food and drink, including a weekly market on a Sunday.
There's also a weekly Park Run on saturday morning. Meet by the Lido at 9am.

It hosted the track cycling events in the 1948 Summer Olympics and was briefly the home of Crystal Palace Football Club during World War I. They have open sessions on a Saturday every 1-2 weeks (pre-booking recommended) where you can get a taster of track cycling.
