very cute "hofje" (courtyard) originally meant for widows, very quaint and very small houses around a courtyard. If I walk through it it always makes me happy!

cute bridge at the end of this street, if you go up the steps it takes you to where once was the city wall. Especially nice when going underneath it by boat or canoe.

There is a free ferry to the other side of the water. It only takes a couple of minutes, but I enjoy doing it and taking a short walk down the Heiligland on the other side.

The beer museum is very small and will note take long to see, but there is a good cafe downstairs with many Belgian beers. On sunny days you can sit in the boat outside with a beer.
