No need to say more. Best picture angle from in front of the ugly hotel. Next to the tacky dolphin fountain.

It's kind of expensive so no need to go in. You can walk around it for free and enjoy the amazing view.

It looks far but it's actually just a pleasant 30-minute walk from the house. Just follow the Thames Path signs. Big skyscrapers, a shopping mall and lots of accumulated money.

You may wonder what that helmet shaped thingy is. It's where the Mayor of London works. There's a nice green area where you can sit and marvel at the skyline & Tower Bridge.

Take the DLR from Shadwell to Cutty Sark, walk through Greenwhich Market up to the top of the park and you'll get some amazing views of London.

Go to Brick Lane on Sunday when it's at its busiest. It's also great on other days if you cannot deal with the crowds. Don't eat the curry from the restaurants there. Not very good.

Best area, in my opinion, to just walk around and bump into 100s of coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques. Pure city life. 20 mins from the flat (Shadwell, Bank, Tottenham Court Rd).
