Huge green space in centre of Edinburgh. Walk through town and Stockbridge to get here then continue through to the Botanical Gardens. Historic Fettes College (JK Rowling's inspiration for Hogwart's is opposite). This Central Park is one of my favourites.

Huge park with lots to entertain you for the day & there is a good cafe. about 30 mins drive as is on the other side of Edinburgh.
