East Glisan has amazing pizza (hello, broccoli rab with lemon oil and chili flakes!) and the warmth of a neighborhood bar. Happy hour cocktails are yummy and cheap, with lots of great microbrews on tap.

Run by a brother-sister duo, Hanoi Kitchen is no-frills Vietnamese food. Affordable and so-fresh-the-veggies-still-crunch, there's even a full vegetarian menu here. The pho broth is made in-house from scratch. Yum!!!
