We are expecting to get lifts at Pokesdown station this year! Note the ART DECO style of the station exterior on Christchurch Rd. Great for trains to London, Southampton, New Forest, Christchurch and Poole via Bournemouth.
Pokesdown station has one of the longest platforms on the network which shows its importance from Victiorian times. You alight here for Boscombe and its beaches ( those at Pokesdown are just as good and quieter).
