10 minute walk from the house. The Crazy Bear is larger than life and somewhat eccentric, visiting is an experience. English and Thai restaurants offer good food although it is quite expensive. They also offer afternoon tea, have a bar and entertainment evenings.

One of the many oldest pubs in England. This is a favorite of ours, not really walking distance. The building is full of character, the ales are varied and good, the food reliable and there is a lovely 3/4 mile circular walk from the pub.
