This venue is ten minutes away in the Lanes. There are top comedians performing most nights but especially good at the weekends. This is also a good music venue and worth checking the listings to see what's on.

It looks like the Taj Mahal, slap bang in the centre of Brighton, 2 minutes from the Lanes. Also situated in a nice park so good for picnics in the summer.

There is a washing machine in the house but I use this place to dry a load, which takes under an hour and costs around £3, well worth it, I think.
