Forget the image of an expensive farmers market (go to Borough Market for that experience), this is a traditional London street market selling cheese, eggs, veg, fish, meat, flowers, Thai and Jamaican ready cooked food and so on. And right on your door step!
A super supermarket with good quality stuff. Free coffee if you get a Waitrose loyalty card...this sort of thing is very important to me!

Why doesn't Airbnb have a 'pub' option?! This is not a bar, it is not a casino, it is not a music venue - it is a good old fashioned British pub! And I believe this is London's most successful pub (and it's in Fulham) , if you visit on a sunny Saturday you will see why! A free-house so sells lots of beers, great wine list, reasonable food and great ambiance!

Brasserie Blanc is a French restaurant with 5 locations around London. All of them have beautiful decors, hearty dishes, seperate bars and this one has a tiny terrace.
Guided by seasonality, and prepared by chefs from scratch, there is something to suit all taste buds. And the pared back tasteful decor is as moorish as the food.

A French chain restaurant that is very pleasing, and one of them is just round the corner! We Londoners can sometimes be a little sniffy about chains, but this is definitely a very appealing option with great food at good value prices - my only gripe with this (french) restaurant is that they don't serve snails in garlic butter (I bring this up with the waiter every time I go in, and my husband raises his eyes at my repetitiveness....!)
