Jeremy runs the best cafe in Annandale in my opinion. The spinach eggs are my weekend go-to, and there is Campos coffee on offer. Downstairs there are occasional market stalls with handmade and secondhand goods.

Lovely homemade Greek-inspired food. Try the salads or spanakopita. Nice ambience.

Foodie mecca a relaxed 10 min walk away, the converted Tramsheds have cuisines for every taste. The indoor nature of the place can make it a little like a food hall, but the food is excellent (though not cheap!) Recommendations include the Turkish place and the sustainable Fish and Co, followed by Gelato Messina and a walk along the water. There's also a grocery shop, liquor store, organic market and medical clinic.

The indoor nature of the place can make it a little like a food hall, but the food is excellent (though not cheap!) Recommendations include the Turkish place and the sustainable Fish and Co, followed by Gelato Messina and a walk along the water. There's also a grocery shop, liquor store, organic market and medical clinic.
Chargrill Charlie's does absolutely legendary chicken - as evidenced by the photos of many famous faces that grace their walls. Stunning salads but the burgers are the best. They deliver via Uber Eats, but it's a 10 min walk up to Johnston St.

To get there, walk around the corner onto Nelson St, turn left and then right onto Parramatta Rd and the stop is right there. Nearly every bus will stop at Railway Square, where you can transfer to trains or other buses.
