Through the Central Park, you can walk/cycle all the way into the city, without ever crossing a road.
Known also as "Squirrel Island", this scenic spot is not far from Helsinki city centre. Beautiful nature, a swimming spot, a cafe, and — most importantly! — the squirrels and birds are used to people. With a little patience they can come up and eat from your hand. Bring some sunflower seeds for them to snack on!

At the top of this hotel is a bar, with great views of the city. The drinks here are expensive, but there's no obligation to buy — just take the elevator to the top floor, walk up one flight of stairs, and enjoy the view! Extra tip: visit the bathroom. The ladies' especially has a particularly memorable view. :)
