Interestingly, Albuquerque's iconic stretch of "The Mother Road" is the biggest tourist draw for the State of New Mexico, for our Land of Enchantment that is otherwise fully loaded with historic and cultural Hispanic and Native American highlights.

Just ten minutes away from our Casita Santuario. Just driving by the Isleta Reservation on I-25 one can get a good overview of the tribe's bison / buffalo herd.

보스케 델 아파치 국립 야생 동물 보호구역 방문자 센터
1001 NM-1Water fowl heaven in a natural wetland habitat.
Explore either eastern side or go deep into the western side of the bluff. Easy to miss the gate for western access, it is on the south side of Route 40, around 3 miles west of the turn off for the Jemez Mtns. Pack a picnic lunch. It's a long hike in but worth it to experience a couple ruined ranch buildings of forgotten New Mexico.

Go up and over and you can go to Los Alamos of Manhattan Project fame.
