The experience takes place in a fantastic space specially designed for cooking multiple paellas simultaneously, where each pair of participants prepares their own paella under Félix's expert guidance.
The session begins with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to what makes paella so special. After aprons are handed out, you’ll explore the key ingredients and their role in the dish while Félix guides you through each step.
Each participant gets a hands-on task, helping prepare the broth and sofrito—the flavorful foundation of paella. As these slow-simmered bases develop, you’ll enjoy a traditional Spanish appetizer (wine, cheeses, cured meats, olives) while Félix shares fascinating insights into paella’s cultural roots and regional variations.
Then, it’s time to add the rice and cook your own paella, applying the techniques you’ve learned with personalized tips. To conclude, we'll savor all our creations together in a festive celebration - sharing stories, laughter, and final culinary secrets.
