Walking distance from the flat. Santo Amaro Beach stretches its long sands around a bay and it is flanked d by a promenade, ideal for strolling or cycling along. On warmer nights, the entertainment continues well past nightfall as the sands are illuminated around the clock.

The other Oeiras beach, also reachable at a walking distance. Perfect to get sun baths or simply have a coffee and enjoy the ocean view at the yellow coffee. It also has a walk conecting all the beaches in the area (From Paço de Arcos until São Julião da Barra/Carcavelos where lot´s of people usually go to run, walk on foot, bike or skate.

A praia de Santo Amaro de Oeiras é a maior do concelho de Oeiras e uma das mais procuradas.Com restaurantes e bares de praia, existem a poucos metros, no Jardim Municipal, do outro lado da Estrada Marginal, mais restaurantes. Esta é uma das praias preferidas por muitos veraneantes, que utilizam o comboio para lá chegar. Terá peso nesta preferência o facto de ficar perto a estação de Santo Amaro, mas também o facto de, do outro lado da Estrada Marginal, existir o Jardim Municipal de Oeiras. É, aliás, bastante comum nas horas de maior calor os relvados ficarem cobertos pelas toalhas de praia.
