Great spot on the water, delicious food, and an island tradition. No reservations, so go early, and be ready to wait. It's worth it.

Gotta have at least one meal at the famous Black Dog if you want to wear their tee shirts. Fresh and good. A great waterfront restaurant in Vineyard haven

The Black Dog originated here on the island. I love going to the restaurant on the harbor so I can watch the ferries come and go. Outdoor deck for summer dinner enjoyment as well as indoor seating.
