This was the very first "loop" section of railroad. The mining tour is a MUST - it is definitely worth the added cost of the ticket.

The name may state Georgetown, but you can actually hitch a ride in town! See some incredible views of the mountains on this steam powered engine during a 2 mile round trip. Fun for kids and adults alike. Your conductor may just be the Mayor of Silver Plume, or his daughter who is one of 7 female steam engine conductors in the country. Their family has been working on railroads for a few generations. A beloved attraction in this area.

This is a must while visiting Keystone! Just a short drive to the station, the railroad ride offers the most gorgeous views through the mountains!
