Don't miss the harbour in Nice! From Vieux Nice, you can either walk up to Place Garibaldi and take Rue Cassini down to Quai des Docks, or walk up the steps of Colline de Château (the Castle Hill). The hill offers a spectacular view, and a chance to see remains of the original city. There are plenty of restaurants and antique dealers in Le Port, and you can easily spend half a day in the stores. We recommend Les Puces de Nice, small dealers with different specialities.

The Old Port of Nice is another of Nice’s attractions. Here you will find some nice views as well as a place for a walk, but most importantly of all, you will circle Castle Hill. From the port, you will also reach Napoleon Bonaparte street and the tenement house where he lived. The Old Port of Nice is actually called Port Lympia.
