Newtown is a funky bohemian neighbourhood with lots of small bars, restaurants, bookstores and cafes. If you're vegetarian or vegan, you will have your pick of meal options. Take a bus or train into Newtown. It won't take long and you will love it.

So many great bars, cafes, restaurants, boutiques and different shops; there's something for everyone here including a few good therapeutic massage centres, a cinema and a massive park. Bohemian vibe, friendly atmosphere, street stalls at the weekends to buy your Newtown Jets t-shirts and the famous Newtown Festival in November. Spend a day and evening out here at the very least. Great nightlife as well for a dance or drinks.
