Great bakery at walking distance. They have all kinds of bread and do social work by hiring special people.

Fermento is a social enterprise with four locations in Alkmaar and surroundings. They offer day care for people with intellectual disabilities . In the bakery , patisserie and mill shops , our staff waiting for you. We serve coffee, sandwiches and delicious soups and selling breads, cakes , flour products and much more . All organic. And you can taste it !

Bakery. Sometimes it might takes an extra second to finish your order, because they work with enthousiastic, but intellectually limited people. There's also a small seating area (coffee corner) to eat your breakfast.

A nice place for coffee and pie or lunch. Everything is organic and the employers have a light mental disability. Here you also buy the best organic bread! The place has also a small playing area.

Dit is een sympathiek project. Het biedt werkervaring aan mensen met afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt in combinatie met het maken van lekkere en gezonde producten. Ook de bakkerij bij de Molen van Oterleek hoort bij dit project.
