Marathi is located in Akrotiri about 17 km east of the city of Chania. Because it has a southern orientation, it is usually windless and peaceful, in relation to the other northern coasts of Crete. It has two beautiful beaches, with fine sand and shallow waters, ideal for families with children. The beaches are separated by a small port and its pier. They are quite organised and with all the necessary amenities very close.

This beach has very clear waters and shallow waters. It is suited better for families. Here, you will see a lot of locals with their children, as well as some couples. Also, it has many small restaurants and cafés. It is a 20 minutes drive away from the Villa.
