Rum 138 is a great spot to visit for a number of reasons. They sell kayaks and SUPS and other river gear and they can outfit you and carry you and a boat to a river adventure, they also have live music, food, and beer some nights of the week. The owner is also wonderfully knowledgeable about the ecology of the local water shed and local conservation efforts.
