A favourite restaurant. Chequers has a pleasant upstairs private room that seats 12 members of my family for a pre Christmas treat . Gorgeous food !

It is a typical friendly village pub just 5 minutes walk away which also serves home cooked food at reasonable prices with dogs welcome in the garden too. Now serving Thai food which we haven't tried yet.
