A Tampa classic and one of Tampa’s oldest restaurant has 2 locations, though the original is in Ybor. Must haves here is there famous 1905 salad and their Cuban sandwich.

Interested in the best salad you've ever had? This Cuban restaurant is centrally located in the middle of the historic Ybor district. Eat great food in a unique atmosphere and even check out their flamenco dancers (specific nights only, please call the restaurant ahead to check on this).

Founded in 1905, the Columbia Restaurant is Florida’s oldest restaurant and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world. Must try the paella!

This is a fancy historical spot on the Ybor strip of 7th Avenue that is less casual than the mom and pop places that serve also tasty Cuban food. But if you want an experience, the restaurant is beautifully built in the historic Ybor district and the food is good for the price. This is more ideal if your family wants to slightly dress up and go out for a family sit down dinner! They also have a restaurant at the Delta gate at TPA, so if you spot them , I always recommend a deviled crab, Cuban sandwich, and a cafe con Lethe before any flight outta town!
