You’ve heard the popular saying, “Diamonds are forever”, right? Well, this is certainly true of Cullinan, a small, yet well-preserved 19th-century diamond-mining town around 50km east of Pretoria.

There are interesting tours to the mine and through the historic mining town. You will see the mine where the diamond that was cut up for the Queen of England's crown was mined. Still one of the biggest diamonds even mined.
