Who doesn't love a castle ruins. Aber has a lovely one, what's left of it. It's next to the water, you'll find it when you drive down the prom (go left at the pier). And it's free! Has picnic tables too, so take nibbles with you or pick up fish&chips.

historic castle grounds in centre of Aberystwyth with great views of the town, sea and old college. Great park for the kids and crazy golf on sight. Good place to watch the sun go down.

Wonderful views of North and South Bay, climb up the ramparts and enjoy the views of the two bays. There is also a children's playground and public toilets.
