Fortress of San Fernando "Castell de Sant Ferran". Considered in its day to be the most beautiful fortress in Europe during the Age of the Enlightement, it was began in 1753 and constructed according to the design of the outstanding military engineer Juan Martin Zermeno. Building of Cultural Interest in Catalonia and the most extensive fortress in Europe.
