Close: A fancy bar/restaurant on Bloor Street. Great steak. Walk 10 minutes.

Fancy, French, Brunch, need I say more? Right on the Bloor Subway Line, book a table for brunch, get the pain au chocolat and thank me later. Thursday 4-8 come for $1 oysters and "cheap" champagne. Get off at Bay station, cross Bloor and head up the big stone steps.
