Sichuanese at the top end of Broadway in Capitol Hill from a chef who was formerly known for prix fixe fine dining. This place changed how I make fried rice. (Maitake mushrooms and Sichuan peppers together are a revelation. There’s bacon, too, but it’s all about the mushrooms and peppercorns for me.) A little pricy here for the portion size, so don’t expect much in the way of leftovers.

Amazing Sichuan food here with great ambience! We have tried the Mapo Doufu, Whole Steamed Trout and Chicken Dry Pot and love it!
