You can't stay this close to Shimazu's without taking a walk over for some local shave ice! This place has been around FOREVER!

If you are taking a trip into Honolulu, this is the BEST Shave Ice on the entire island! Great selection of flavors and they get the ice shave so perfect it is like eating flavored snow.

People always ask me where the best Shaved Ice is. Well, it is Shimazu store. Maybe it looks like a hole in the wall, but the shaved ice is the best on the island.
