It serves really good food in the restaurant upstairs above the pub (which also serves bar meals). It's gaining a worthy reputation and is only a minute's walk away.

The Railway is our go-to place every Saturday for brunch in their tea room. It has a fantastic atmosphere and is the perfect place to kick off a lazy weekend. We'd also recommend going there for dinner and their evening menu is just as good as their brunch!

Fantastic pub, good pub grub, nice wines and lots going on. Recommend the Tuesday evening pub quiz! Family friendly (they also host bring your own baby lunchtime pub quizzes monthly, as well as regular baby classes in the mornings). They also have a great beer garden for sunny afternoons, and are a good place to watch large sporting events.
