LARGEST LIMESTONE MINE IN THE WORLD Welcome to the world’s largest limestone mine. Deep down awaits you a completely unique experience for both children and adults – your dog is also welcome to join. Old underground mines now being used in some areas to mature cheese, for concerts, lit by torches some days. Very interesting.

Med kun tre km s afstand ligger de to kalkgruber. Daugbjerg er udelukkende gravet ud med hånden og Mønsted blev til en industriel produktion i 1872. I mønsted kan man opleve kæmpe gruber som maskiner har gravet ud af kalken, der er multimedieshow og der er et minetog man kan prøve
