Grab yourself the best spot on the beach next to the little Sable Point Lighthouse. With less than a 15 minute drive from Hart you can be sure to snag a great spot!

Beautiful Little Sable Point Lighthouse is a lovely one mile walk up the beach. The lighthouse was built in 1874 and stands over 100 feet tall and still has its original 3rd order Fresnel lens. Volunteer Keepers welcome you to climb the tower and take in the extraordinary views of surrounding forest and dunes. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day towers may be climbed for $2 for children and $5 for adults. Educational tours are available by appointment, and are warmly received by staff and volunteers who love to share their Michigan maritime knowledge.

Very cool lighthouse that you can climb to the top of! There is an entry fee that goes to maintaining the lighthouses of Michigan.

It's a Beautiful drive back to the lighthouse that's located on one of the most beautiful Lake Michigan beaches. There is a paved area across the dune to make the walk a little easier. It's one of my favorite spots in the world. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse Tues-Sun 10 am - 5 pm for a small fee.

Opened in 1874 this beautiful piece of history is a sight to behold. Located along the shore of Lake Michigan it is a must see for all light house enthusiasts! If you have time climb the stairs and enjoy a breath taking view ! Great place to soak up some sun or say your vows!
