I will teach you the secrets on how to make some deliciously unique and authentic Montreal style bagels at home, the easy way. We will start by learning how the ingredients used affect the Bagels and the final result. Then we will all measure our ingredients using scales. After that, I will show you how to properly mix and knead the dough which you will do on your own right after me. I have adapted the best Boulanger (Bread Maker) techniques to the home kitchen so you will become a confident baker at home in no time! Montreal boasts one of the most vibrant and exciting nightlife scenes in the world! In other words, there is something for everyone! Our experience is NOT just a pub crawl. You'll notice that group sizes are limited to 6. This is because our experience is intimate and exclusive. We focus on connecting with each person and ensuring that the experience is tailored to the specific interests of each group. As a result, we put in extra effort to organize multiple itineraries for the night. Due to the exclusivity of some locations, large groups would not be permitted entry. The night will commence with an opportunity to get acquainted over a drink at one of Montreal's coolest speakeasy bars. Next, we'll take you to a trendy lounge with electronic music, allowing you to savor the vibrant and eclectic nightlife of Montreal. Finally, we'll visit an exclusive nightclub or disco to dance the night away. The venue will be selected based on the music preference of the group and bottle service can be organized upon request. Note that we are professional event organizers and party planners. We know all the hottest places in the city and have connections at them. Whether it's to de-stress or just for the novelty of it, the Rage Room is an awesome activity to do. It's pretty simple, choose from a variety of glass items and electronics, suit up in our complete protective gear and break stuff. A signed waiver is required to participate in this activity. You must be 18 years or older and will be asked to provide proof if deemed required (or 16-17, with a parent). Please keep in mind, you are breaking glass items and electronics, so this experience is not for the faint-hearted. Other things to note When you arrive, you'll have to sign a waiver before starting the experience. The Rage Cage can accommodate up to 4-5 people at a time. Welcome to Edible Other, a Montreal pop-up devoted to exploring the global food and culinary communities of this incredible city and province. This unique experience is a 5-course tasting menu of dishes inspired by the tastes of Montreal's gastronomic immigrant cultures - a market mix of Asian, Jewish, Caribbean, Italian, Portuguese, or Middle Eastern - personally cooked by a Michelin star-trained chef in a private 1800's-era loft and kitchen. The hosting Chef is an award-winning food writer (Gourmet, Food+Wine) and Doctoral scholar (Oxford University/Press) who has worked with celebrity chefs, James Beard-Award, and Top Chef from the US to Asia-Pacific. The dining site is an apartment in a historic 1800's building in the famous Old Port. There will be an emphasis on Canadian sources of seafood, meat, ethnic inspiration, and cheesemakers.
