Cheap and cheerful, cash only, and the best local Vietnamese. Family-run business, fantastic pho and beautiful bun noodles. $15 will more than fill you up. Yum!

Playground great for young-primary ages kids. Swings, climbing equipment, slippery dip. A good way to spend an hr or two in the afternoon with little ones.

The walk around the Glebe/Blackwattle Bay foreshore, from Chapman Rd to the Fish Markets is a wonderful way to see some of Sydney's inner west. Follow the path from Chapman Rd in Annandale around the bend, through Jubilee Park, around Blackwattle Bay and over to the Fish Markets. There are 2x playgrounds for kids (Federal Park and Jubilee Park), as well as a couple dog beaches. Unfortunately the route needs a coffee shop - the closest is at the Tramsheds or at the end of the walk at the Fish Markets.

We love walking or biking down to the Fish Market and taking in the sensory overload of sights, smells and sounds! The Fish Market boasts some of the best (and most reasonably priced!) sashimi in Sydney. It's worth a stop! Make sure you get there early - they open at 5a but everything shuts down by 3p.
