Fish Tales just opened up a family friendly section in addition to its 21 and up section. Great dinner spot less than a mile from our house. The Dark and Dry Cider also gets honorable mention, as does the clam chowder!

La Gitana is the PERFECT spot for a romantic date... or for people who love authentic Italian pizza, wine and a cozy ambiance. When you go be sure to save room for dessert. The owner makes them herself and all I can really say about that is, "WOW. More please."

518 Capitol Way SLa Gitana is the PERFECT spot for a romantic date... or for people who love authentic Italian pizza, wine and a cozy ambiance. When you go be sure to save room for dessert. The owner makes them herself and all I can really say about that is, "WOW. More please."
Bonus: Live music on weekends!!
This is hands down the best place to get brunch in all of Olympia. It's a small spot so there is usually a wait but that being said, we have never waited longer than 20 minutes.
Note: New Moon can't accommodate groups larger than 4. It's really small. But seriously delicious.

Olympia has the best farmers market I have ever been to - that's including Pikes Place! Summer is really the time to go as there is live music on the weekends. We still enjoy ourselves in the winter! It's a great place to feel the culture of the city and grab a few things to cook dinner with. There are also booths serving food if you need lunch or a snack.

Olympia has the best farmers market I have ever been to - that's including Pikes Place! Summer is really the time to go as there is live music on the weekends. We still enjoy ourselves in the winter! It's a great place to feel the culture of the city and grab a few things to cook dinner with. There are also booths serving food if you need lunch or a snack.
Essentials
This is about half a mile from our house and our favorite way to stretch our legs and get small items that we may have forgotten from the big grocery store. Ralph's has most of the things - food, pharmacy, post cards, stamps etc.

We love this loop!!! It's very shady and has stunning foliage. There are inclines and declines. Perfect spot to go if you want to be completely immersed in nature without leaving the city.
