Renovated farm. Local talent. We love this place! Great for apéro with the kids as it's half outdoors and they can run around. DJ starts around 12 or 2:00AM regularly. Check out their FB page for specifics. Casual.

Great surf & kite spot. Surf lessons available. Respect the waves - can be quite dangerous for less experienced surfers. Beautiful walks. Gorgeous sunsets.

The Glenan Islands, often called the "Breton Tahiti" are an archipelago of nine main islands and many islets, about 16km off the South coast of Finistere and only accessible in the summer. They are famous for their sailing and diving schools.
Daily ferries are available during season from Bénodet (ferry's 10 min from our home), Concarneau, Beg Meil and Loctudy. The boats arrive at the main island Saint Nicolas. There are a couple of restaurants on the main island along with the international diving school.
If you sail, you can rent sailboats in Bénodet and spend the day on the islands.

Sailing school opens for lessons in season. They have blow up activity games for children during the season. There's a great hike all the way to Beg Meil.
Sightseeing
Fisherman village. Try to be there around 5:00PM when all the colorful fishing boats come home to port. If you're lucky, you'll be able to buy direct from the boats. Otherwise, there are great fish stands on the docks to buy the days catches.

1.5 hours from our home, Carnac is known throughout the world for its unique rows of ancient standing stones. There are several visitors centers and museums if you have time.
There is also a wonderful Indian restaurant hidden away near one of the monuments that we stumbled upon a few years ago and fell in love with : Auberge Indien Kercado.
If you like Thalasso therapy, there's a good one in Carnac and another not too far in Quiberon.

1.5 hours from our home, Carnac is known throughout the world for its unique rows of ancient standing stones. There are several visitors centers and museums if you have time.
There is also a wonderful Indian restaurant hidden away near one of the monuments that we stumbled upon a few years ago and fell in love with : Auberge Indien Kercado.
If you like Thalasso therapy, there's a good one in Carnac and another not too far in Quiberon.
