The rocky coast, watercourse and karst land surrounding and including the Pembroke rifle ranges are scheduled locally as 'Areas of Ecological Importance' and 'Sites of Scientific Importance', whereas the rifle ranges themselves are protected as historic structures. Avoid going during the hot summer months, or else jump in the sea after a long walk! (20 mins walk)
