Bocalli’s: 3277 Ojai Santa Paula Road, 3 minute drive from Sweet 1 (pull out and make a left and head East/away from downtown). Local, family owned pizza & pasta restaurant, with outdoor seating. Very casual, the frown many of their own veggies and the strawberry shortcake is amazing (seasonal)!

Authentic Italian with outdoor patio seating (lovely during the day), wood fired pizzas and fresh salads- many topped with fresh fish. They also serve spaghetti squash in place of pasta if you’d like.

They have a full schedule including: morning meditation, yoga, walks~ or walk on the path that leads to a bench overlooking the Ojai Valley. As of Feb 2018 they are closed due to completing fire restoration, check their web site for updates.

Arcade Plaza: 256 East Ojai Avenue in the heart of downtown. The “arches” are in the center of town, just adjacent to the post office tower. In the arcade you will find Ojai Ice Cream, Rains department store, many shops and some restaurants, wine tasting and honey tasting!

Westridge Mid Town Market- They have a good selection of local produce (citrus), as well as a lot of prepared foods (pastries, salad bar, cake, sushi, sandwiches, pizza, + hot and cold case). Perfect for picnics or to take back to Sweet 1’s patio. Another good option is Rainbow Bridge the health food store located on Matilija Street, they have smoothies, sandwiches and a hot + cold case of prepared foods.

Yoga: There are SO many yoga studios in Ojai, I recommend you google and read through for one that suits you the best. I like Ingrid at Sacred Space, her restorative yoga is the best. Several studios are right around the corner and Ojai Yoga Shala has a ton of classes.
