Great local food and is perfect for breakfast. Just 2 minutes from the house (5 if you walk) try the loco-moco, the garlic chicken plate, kalbi or pulehu ribs, or even the teri chicken salad. SO good. Just note that theyre closed on Wednesdays.

the best poke bowls around! known for its shoyu poke, it hits the spot every time. right across the street from our local Kahuku High School. pick up a couple poke bowls and drinks/snacks and hit the beach for a perfect day.

Beautiful place to go to the beach. only 45 minutes away from our home and is known for the 'jumping rock' clear blue water and nice warm sand. if you cant find parking, head back to the church tower you see and you can park there. beat the lady that sits there and you wont have to pay ;)

Great long hiking trail! kind of strenuous and DEFINITELY slippery so be careful! definitely worth it when you get to the waterfall. also comes with beautiful scenery all around
