Everything they cook here is AMAZING. EVERYTHING! They make their own hard alcohol! Seriously, you have to go here if this is your first time. Ask for the cornbread if you sit in the bar - and make sure they bring the syrup! Everyone here is lovely. There are two plugs in the bar for your computer and if I am not at Gregory's I am here, enjoying the unique ambiance.

Before I even moved to Seattle I started hunting for the best Ethiopian restaurant. I stopped when I got here. Its been my favorite cuisine for about 30 years, I have a favorite Ethiopian in many cities. Queen Sheba is is right up there. Its everything a night out in Seattle needs to start with - it's right in the heart of Seattle so you go everywhere from there.

Yummy Somali food with a few key Indian holdovers. I love it, it's walking distance!!! Get the spaghetti with your meal, or the injera. The rice is great too. Heck - try it all. Goat and lamb before 5.

BURLESQUE! I can't even begin to start with this place. Right in the heart of Pike Place, it's a secret taste of Paris. The Burlesque is second to none in this tiny venue that makes you feel like one of a chosen few. The house drinks are something your tongue has missed all it's life and the food is terrific - get the mac and cheese (no, I' really not kidding) and the beignets, and settle in for an evening you won't forget. TIP: go on Thursday, the early show. Great parking and no crowd.
