This is right on the way to the Ferry Terminal, tucked in between the Court Houses. Its Spanish/Carribean Style food. It has a Bar- after work scene and always seems to be pretty busy for Dinner

This is a New Orleans Style Restaurant - Really good food and small bar. They have Jazz and Tarot Card Readings and with the southern style food you should order the traditional sweet tea or of course a cocktail - YUMMY!

very unexpected place. If you have a car and go to the Beach - this restaurant is on the way right on Ocean Avenue. They serve really good Turkish food, sometimes have Belly Dancing and also make individual Pizzas which are also really great.... one of a kind place - off the beaten path

A brand new Brewery in the area. They have good brew and beer - a kind of cafeteria like setting with picnic tables and they serve basic bar food. They have fun local events so look them up online for pictures and schedules or if you just want to go hangout out and drink with others.

It sits under the Verrazono Bridge right on the Beach - This is a place for the Real Explorer... Incredible views of New York and the Ocean - Forgotten and spooky. Walk down the Beach Path and rent a bike on the Boardwalk - you can go for miles... Hard to believe you're in a city - great for Dogs.

South Beach
Go to the beach!! you can spend the whole day in the sun - take a break from the city... There are boardwalks with restaurant, ice cream and Fort Wadsworth - bike trails this is unique to Staten Island and it all sits right under the Verrazano Bridge - the longest Suspension Bridge in the Western Hemisphere
Really - you can't possibly miss this sight-seeing. Everyone does it and it is out-of-the-movies views of New York. You've seen it thru Hollywoods Eyes but you have to do it on your own to get the Badge. When you get off the Ferry It's about a 10 minute walk thru Wall Steet to the Entrance. The walk over is about 45 minutes if you don't stop and when you get to the other side, don't just turn around and come back - Nope you have to go down the stairs, turn right or left depending on which side you come down on and head a couple of blocks to the Water. This Neighborhood is called DUMBO.... explore and then you can take the Subway back - joust a couple of minutes right to Wall Street..

if you thing the Empire State is way up with views - well this will blow your mind. 360 views of all of New York waaaaay up. Look at ticket options online before going.

it took 15 years but they finally finished the Path/metro station which has been closed ever since... it is 2 billion over budget, designed by Santiago Calatrava Valls is a Spanish/Swiss architect. It really is spectacular - go go go

Everyone should go here and explore the city from here!! Yup - The Staten Island Minor League - Inexpensive, lots of Fire works and hot dogs and probably one of the best views while you watch a game of any stadium location
