We discovered fiskrökeri by chance and have since been drawn back time and time again for it's wonderful sea food! A delightful un presuming little place by the Limhamn harbour area. We take visitors, family, meet friends and kids. Everything goes, nothing is unwanted. Top marks for the all round experience!

hey have a well-balanced menu of fish, seafood (the shrimp is very tasty) and meat tapas, some tiny tomato salad, in general simple dishes but a treat to your palate. Service was good every time and to round the feast I recommend trying the wines, those by the glass are very good. The place fills up so it's best to book ahead if coming during eating hours.

Limhamns kalkbrott (Limhamn limestone quarry) or Kalkbrottet (the limestone quarry) is situated near Malmö, in the Borough of Limhamn-Bunkeflo, Malmö Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden.
The quarry was opened in 1866, and it is one of the largest open-pit mines in Northern Europe, measuring 1300 by 800 meters, with a depth of 65 meters. A railway line connects the quarry to the cement factory in Limhamn port, with about two kilometers of the railway connection going in a tunnel (opened in 1968) to reduce air pollution. Mining of limestone in the quarry ceased in 1994.

An absolutely must if you go to Malmö. Impressive architecture. Located at the seaside. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station though some lovely parks. From the tower, you can connect with the walk to the seaside and with the view on the Oresund bridge.
